- What the signed text says
Annex 25-B lists Φέτα (Feta), Greece, as white sheep-milk cheese or sheep-and-goat-milk cheese. Footnote 5 allows qualifying prior users in Mexico up to eight years from entry into force, with a visible indication of the product’s geographical origin. This is not an eight-year exception for every seller.

The sources checked on 5 September do not establish that the new rules are applying. The Council’s 14 July notice makes entry into force conditional on both parties’ notifications. Recheck that status before each partner presentation; do not start the eight-year clock from signature or EU approval.

Collect milk species, processing and maturation, origin and dispatch country, producer and establishment, packaging, importer and proposed classification.
