Record the countries of establishment and service delivery. Specify whether you sell agency services, organised trips, guiding, accommodation or transport, and whether you contract with travellers or another operator.

Use the Point of Single Contact for the EU country concerned. Ask which registrations, notifications and qualifications apply to your activity. Establishing a business and providing temporary cross-border services are different cases. Eligibility and national conditions need separate confirmation.

If you combine travel services, check whether package-travel rules apply. Confirm the information, liability and insolvency-protection duties for your role. Check the national rules and application dates before changing contracts; the 2026 EU amendments have a transition period.

Check SECTUR's catalogue to determine whether your activity requires National Tourism Register enrolment. Follow the procedure for that service and confirm other applicable permissions. Serving Mexican customers from abroad does not, by itself, establish a Mexican registration requirement.
Consulta el catálogo de SECTUR para determinar si tu actividad requiere inscripción en el Registro Nacional de Turismo. Sigue el trámite de ese servicio y confirma los demás permisos aplicables. Atender a clientes mexicanos desde el extranjero no exige, por sí solo, un registro en México.
